Copeland Crankcase Heater
Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of a new series of bellyband style crankcase heaters for use with Copeland® compressors, including Copeland Scroll® compressors from 1.5-30 Hp and Copeland hermetic reciprocating compressors for refrigeration and air conditioning.
Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of a new series of bellyband style crankcase heaters for use with Copeland® compressors, including Copeland Scroll® compressors from 1.5-30 Hp and Copeland hermetic reciprocating compressors for refrigeration and air conditioning. The new crankcase heaters are produced by Emerson Heating Products and are the preferred crankcase heaters for use with Copeland compressors. The new crankcase heaters will replace the current crankcase heaters offered by Emerson Climate Technologies over the next few months.
The new crankcase heaters feature an improved design that provides simpler handling and installation, improved heat transfer and performance and enhanced robustness.
Heat Cable Positioning
The omega style profile permits the heat cable to rest directly on the compressor housing improving the rate of heat performance.
Aluminum Construction
The smooth edge design won’t cut lead wires and eliminates potential injury to the installer. Aluminium conducts heat more rapidly than steel, increasing the rate of heat transferred into the compressor.
Strain Relief
Robust strain relief for added protection of heater against mishandling of leads.
